Welcome to Creative Sprouts. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using our website and ordering our boxes. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — and if anything is unclear, just reach out.

1 Who we are

Creative Sprouts is a South African business offering monthly play & learn arts and crafts subscription boxes and once-off boxes for toddlers aged 2–5. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Creative Sprouts, and "you" refers to the person placing an order or using the site.

2 Placing an order

You must be 18 years or older to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary (for example, if an item is out of stock or there has been a pricing error).

3 Our products

We offer two ways to play:

• Sprout Path subscription — a recurring monthly box billed at R650 per month.
• Once-Off Box — a single box for R750, with no subscription required.

Box contents and themes change over time, and the images on our site are a guide. We may substitute materials of equal or greater value where needed.

4 Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

When you start a Sprout Path subscription, you authorise us to charge the monthly fee to your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Your subscription renews automatically each month.

You can cancel at any time before your next billing date. Once a payment has been taken and your box for that cycle is being prepared, that cycle cannot be refunded, but you will not be billed again after cancelling.

5 Pricing & payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details. We may update our prices from time to time, but changes will not affect orders already placed or the current cycle of an active subscription.

6 Shipping & delivery

Boxes are shipped within 2–3 business days of your order or billing date. Delivery timeframes given by couriers are estimates and not guaranteed. Please make sure your delivery address is correct — we cannot be responsible for orders delayed or lost due to an incorrect address.

7 Returns & refunds

Because our boxes contain craft and sensory materials intended for young children, we are unable to accept returns once a box has been opened or used, for hygiene and safety reasons. If your box arrives damaged, faulty or incomplete, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and your order number, and we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act remain unaffected.

8 Safety & adult supervision

Our activities are designed for children aged 2–5 and require active adult supervision at all times. Some materials may pose a choking hazard for very young children. Please follow any guidance included in the box, keep small parts away from children under 3 unless supervised, and use your own judgement about what is suitable for your child. If your child has allergies, please check materials before use. We are not liable for injury or harm resulting from unsupervised or inappropriate use.

9 Intellectual property

All content on this site and in our boxes — including the Creative Sprouts name, the Sprout & Bloom characters, artwork, learning cards, schedules, photographs and text — belongs to us and is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own family's personal enjoyment, but you may not copy, resell or distribute it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10 Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For details on what we collect and how we use it, please see our Privacy Policy.

11 Limitation of liability

We take great care with our products and service, but to the extent permitted by law, Creative Sprouts will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the site or your subscription after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
